A Utah company started by Brigham Young University students that sells apartment-management software has won a place on the November cover of Fortune Small Business Magazine".
Property Solutions International`s concept was picked as the best business plan from the nation`s top business schools.
Business partners and BYU students David Bateman, Benjamin Zimmer and Michael Trionfo, along with nonstudents Jeramy Morill and Jordan Jones will receive a $50,000 award at a ceremony in New York.
The BYU team has already won $50,000 in BYU`s annual business-plan competition.
Launched last spring, Property Solutions already has 30 full-time employees in Dallas, Las Vegas, California, Idaho and Utah. The software allows complex managers to build web sites offering virtual apartment tours and online rent collection software.
