Some BYU students started a business that has landed them national recognition and thousands of dollars.
David Bateman and Benjamin Zimmer started a web-based company called Property Solutions last summer. They developed software that manages apartment properties online.
The students flew to New York City and competed against teams from Harvard and MIT in the National Institute for Entrepreneurship`s Venture Bowl 2004, the nation`s largest college business plan competition.
Property Solutions placed first runner-up and won $250,000 in startup funds.
