(Provo-AP) -- Two Brigham Young University students and a recent BYU grad have won Fortune Small Business magazine`s first national "MBA Showdown," even though not one of them has his master`s degree in business.
David Bateman, Benjamin Zimmer and Michael Trionfo are featured on the cover of the magazine`s November issue.
The three men picked up their $50,000 prize money Thursday in New York City, where the other co-founders of their business, Jeramy Morrill and Jordan Jones, joined them.
Property Solutions International produces web-based software for apartment complex managers.
Though the magazine won`t be on newsstands until Monday, it has been sent to one million American Express Business Credit Card holders.
Bateman says the company already is getting calls.
