A group of BYU students are in New York City today to lunch with Mayor Bloomberg. The Marriott school undergraduate business entrepreneurs submitted a business plan in a national competition held by Fortune Magazine. They competed with MBA students across the country, took first place, and a $50,000 prize. English major Ben Zimmer says the team is thrilled.
The team’s new business is an internet based property management software program called property solutions. Their faces will soon be on the cover of Fortune Small Business Magazine.
