BYU Students Win $50,000

(Provo-AP) -- Two Brigham Young University students and a recent BYU grad have won Fortune Small Business magazine's first national "MBA Showdown," even though not one of them has his master's degree in business.
David Bateman, Benjamin Zimmer and Michael Trionfo are featured on the cover of the magazine's November issue.
The three men picked up their $50,000 prize money Thursday in New York City, where the other co-founders of their business, Jeramy Morrill and Jordan Jones, joined them.
Property Solutions International produces web-based software for apartment complex managers.
Though the magazine won't be on newsstands until Monday, it has been sent to one million American Express Business Credit Card holders.
Bateman says the company already is getting calls.
