Property Solutions International, Inc. was launched in January 2003 by David Bateman, Benjamin Zimmer, and Michael Trionfo. Since that time, Property Solutions® has enjoyed unprecedented growth as it develops innovative software tools to serve the property management industry. Today, with two offices and a team of over 40 employees, Property Solutions® is on track for continued growth.
The idea behind Property Solutions® arose when founder David Bateman noticed that his wife, Amanda, was dealing with frustrating software at work. At the time, Amanda was managing a medium-sized multifamily portfolio. Each evening, Bateman would listen to her struggles with overly complex property management software, the difficulties of using paper ledgers to process hundreds of rent payments, and program inefficiencies that ultimately kept her from getting to her most important task--working with residents.
A natural entrepreneur, with two successful web-based businesses to his credit, Bateman sensed an opportunity. With partners Zimmer and Trionfo, he researched the most common issues property managers face and developed innovative systems for improving them. The team’s ideas won the 2003 Fortune Small Business Magazine MBA Showdown, beating competitors selected from winners of accredited MBA business plan competitions across the U.S.
Today, Property Solutions® is the nation`s largest provider of apartment community web sites, providing property management tools to management companies in all 50 states, ranging in size from 50,000 units or more under management to less than 100 units. Property Solutions® employs a dynamic team of software developers, technical support staff, and account representatives, all dedicated to creating and implementing the best property management tools available.
