Mobile browsing was a hot topic at NAA this year, and we were happy to contribute to the buzz by launching our latest in mobile technology: ResidentPortal Mobile. For the first time in New Orleans, Property Solutions unveiled a ResidentPortal interface designed specifically for mobile devices. The mobile site allows your residents to use a smartphone or other device to quickly and easily complete online transactions, such as paying rent or submitting a maintenance request.
Think of it this way: Last week your resident used their phone to call a maintenance problem in to your office. Tomorrow, they could use that same phone to enter the work order directly into your system AND track the maintenance status on-the-go. Residents no longer need a desk-top computer to pay rent or check their current balance or payment history.
We predict that property management professionals are going to be thinking a lot more about mobile technologies in the near future. During the Titans of Technology session on Friday, mobile was identified as a leading technology trend. And response to the “Go Mobile” theme at the Property Solutions booth was very enthusiastic.
