I can’t stand Lady Gaga’s music. I just wanted to establish that right from the get-go. If I were forced to listen to more than 30 seconds of Poker Face, I imagine I would become borderline suicidal. Regardless of how I feel about her music, I can’t balk at Lady Gaga’s unprecedented social media presence.
In less than two years, the 25-year-old, five-time Grammy Award-winning artist created a monstrous social media machine to which there is no equal. Her online presence has grown to the extent that she even launched her own social networking site, LittleMonsters.com, earlier this month. Currently the most-followed Twitter account on the planet, @ladygaga boasts over 19 million followers. She has over 48 million Facebook fans, making her fan page one of the most popular in the world. To top it all off, her total number of YouTube views stands at over two billion.
Alright. Confession time: How many of you haven’t touched your Google+ profile since 2011? Go in Peace. You are forgiven —Unless— that is, you have neglected your Google+ Business Page. The opportunities awaiting you in Google+ are far too great to be forsaken.
Recent changes at Google have broad SEO implications, opening up a new world of possibilities for businesses that take notice. Last month’s announcement of Search Your World Plus marks a dramatic shift in the future of search engines; a future in which search engines understand the unique individual on the other side of the screen. The people at Google recognize that “best search results” are different for each person, and they’re transforming Google Search to be able to provide its users with personalized content. A large part of how they do this, is by garnering information found within the online communities that people belong. According to Google’s chief engineer, Amit Singhal, “…behind most every query is a community.” And they’re modifying the nature of Google Search to reflect this concept.
When you’re managing a multifamily property, finding efficient ways to communicate timely information with several groups of people can be one of your most pressing challenges. Email makes it possible for property managers to save on paper or printing costs while getting information out to large numbers of people at once, but maintaining email lists and tracking the effectiveness of email campaigns can create its own burdensome workload. Enter MessageCenter. Property Solutions provides the easiest way to reach groups of people with the information they need when they need it. How does MessageCenter differ from other communications tools? We’ll tell you:
Meghan Hill, Director of Marketing at Guardian, was in a tight spot. With two brand new urban ekoHaus communities coming on line and no leasing office, she had to get creative with lease-up. “The challenge with small buildings is: one vacancy is a big deal. So we’re on a really tight schedule to get these leased up once construction is complete,” Hill explained. “When the first property was handed to us, we were trying to figure out a way to pre-lease before construction was even done so we could get ahead of the game. Our timeline was two months.”
We’re pleased to announce a new feature to our online leasing and renewals product: Automated Renewal Options. Our system now allows property managers to email renewal notices to residents with multiple renewal terms and pricing options so managers can generate the resident’s new lease based on their response.
Managers can now add renewal incentives or resident rewards to the email, allowing residents to choose between customizable options like carpet cleaning, an accent wall, or other promotions or concessions.
It is a truth universally acknowledged, that renters must be compelled to carry renters insurance coverage. We all know that renters insurance is a good idea for residents and property owners and managers. But, the alarming reality of the situation is, if renters are allowed to execute their lease without showing proof of coverage less than 20 percent of residents in the country will procure renters insurance. This is the reason more than 2/3 of apartment properties in the U.S. require residents to carry renters insurance as part of the terms of their lease.
Our newest website design keeps it simple, but never boring. Parchment features customizable colors with resident reviews and property specials right on the homepage.
