Since the April 2010 launch of the iPad, property managers have been looking at ways to harness the unique features and benefits of tablet computing in the leasing office. We were as intrigued as anyone and developed the SiteTablet app for property managers last July. After one year, the tireless work of our developers and the timely feedback of our clients combined to help SiteTablet win the Multi-Housing News Technology Choice Awards’ honor for most innovative new technology.

What makes SiteTablet so innovative? First, it facilitates a greater variety of leasing office tasks than any other iPad app in the industry. From marketing, to leasing, to resident transactions, the SiteTablet puts it all at the fingertips (literally) of property management professionals. The app is easy to set up and even easier to use, whether in the leasing office or out on the property. Property managers have observed that the sleek, stylish interface of the iPad combined with the robust functionality provided by SiteTablet help them create a memorable leasing experience for prospective renters.

And the innovations keep coming. We’re not content to rest on our laurels; we’re working with clients just like you to discover tasks for which the iPad is particularly well suited. With your help, we are able to continually build new functionality into the app, making it more and more useful to property managers. You told us that guest cards and applications were a good start and asked for a lease execution feature: we introduced fingertip lease signing. You asked for move-in / move-out checklists, they’re on the way. With continued interest, we anticipate the SiteTablet iPad app will continue to lead the industry in mobile applications for property managers.
